I understand that every student learns in different ways and so my teaching method depends on your individual needs, skills and goals as well as your level. I am very patient and believe learning English should be lots of fun! I always like to get to know my students and understand their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and passions - to create a lesson that really feels unique for them.
I believe if a student makes a mistake in spoken English, it is essential to correct the mistake straight away, as bad habits can stick if a student is only reminded of their mistake after it has happened. According to the students preferences, I spend equal time focusing on vocabulary, written English, spoken English, and fluency/pronunciation.
I am very open with my students and give them feedback as often as they would like it. I think it is very important to understand your strengths and weaknesses when learning, and I always work with the student to understand how they can improve.
I like to challenge my students, and if they desire, I can give homework to help push them even further.
