1. Spanish verbs change to agree with their subject for singular and plural, for first person (I), second person (you), and third person (he or anything else).
2. Second person is further distinguished for familiar or formal.
3. Second person formal and third person take the same verb form in the singular; all second and third person take the same form in the plural.
