Dani is a Spanish teacher from Medellín, Colombia. She loves connecting with people from different backgrounds and having meaningful conversations.

She is naturally curious and always seems to have a new idea, project or random question on her mind. She enjoys finding interesting stories in everyday life, and sharing a good laugh along the way.

She is inspired by people who are kind, brave, curious and willing to make a difference in the world.

Her faith is also a big part of her life — it gives her purpose and reminds her to live with gratitude and compassion. She draws inspiration from creativity, beautiful places, and the little moments that make life meaningful.

She is a bit of a mermaid — she loves being in the water and can hold her breath for more than two minutes. She is also surprisingly good at patiently listening to people’s stories, even the really long ones.

She has a very good sense of direction, so getting lost is not usually a problem. And for some completely mysterious reason, she is excellent at remembering irrelevant dates and random little details that nobody else remembers.

Hiding her reactions. Her face usually tells the whole story before she even says a word — happy, surprised, confused, excited or sad. If you want to know what she is thinking, you probably just have to look at her face.

She can also be very indecisive when there are too many good options. Give her two choices and she is fine; give her ten, and you may be there a while.

• Before studying Humanities and Spanish, she studied Chemical Engineering, so her academic background is a little more unexpected than you might think.
• She absolutely loves puzzles, and is currently working on one of the entire world map.
