Rocío is a Spanish teacher from Mexico who loves helping students feel confident using Spanish in real-life situations, whether they are just starting their language journey or working toward fluency.

Her goal is to create lessons that are engaging, practical and relaxed, because she believes learning happens best when you feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. She enjoys connecting language with culture, stories and everyday life to make every class meaningful and enjoyable.

Rocío is inspired by curiosity. She believes there is always something new to discover, whether it is a language, a culture, a book, an idea or a different way of seeing the world.

She is also inspired by nature, and by the reminder that growth takes time. Just like learning a language, every small step adds up to something meaningful.

One of her hidden talents is creating adventures and characters for Dungeons & Dragons, coming up with fantasy stories, and finding creative solutions when things do not go according to plan — both in games and in the classroom.

When she has too many things happening at once, she can get a little overwhelmed. She has learned that making lists, staying organized and taking things one step at a time helps her stay on track.
