Sara is from Colombia and has lived there her whole life. She loves languages, and the way learning them connects us to the culture and worldview of the people who speak them.

She is inspired by God, her family and her loved ones. They are the most important people in her life, and she believes they give life its meaning.

Meeting new people, understanding different points of view and sharing life with others inspire her every day.

One of her hidden talents is her memory. She can easily remember information, conversations and events just as they happened — though she is quick to point out that her visual memory is not nearly as good.

Anything related to physical coordination. Activities that require it are, in her words, a nightmare for her.

• She loves repeating things instead of always trying something new. When she finds a restaurant she really likes, she can go there every weekend and never get tired of it.
• The same goes for books, TV series and movies — there are some she has read or watched so many times she has lost count.
• When she really likes something, it definitely shows.
