¡Hola! My name is Paulina and I am a native speaker of Spanish from México.
I have a BA in Linguistics and LatinAmerican Literature.
I have about 10 of experience teaching Spanish and English as second languages, as well as Spanish grammar to native speakers
I offer classes to students from 11 years and upward.
I offer classes for Exam preparation (DELE) and specialized courses for Business, Teachers, Medicine and for Tourists.
Even though I have a heavy grammar background, I like fun classes with games, conversation and activities.

Teaching style

I like to make my classes fun and full of color. We would start a little grammar explained in colors and pictures, move on to some exercises using real life scenarios, as much as possible, and end with a game, conversation or a little reading using the topic we just talked about. Games, music, Youtube videos, magazine articles, newspaper notes and short stories are always part of my lessons. I like to understand how my students learn and think, it's important to me that you let me know if something is difficult and why, so I can find a different way to explain the topic.

Hobbies

I love stories, so reading and watching shows and videos are some of my hobbies. I also enjoy trecking and walking around the city.

Teaching Spanish as a second language since 2010.

I speak a total of 4 languages:
Spanish (Native), English (Advanced), French (Beginner), Portuguese (Beginner).

I've visited or lived in the following countries: I have visited Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands.
