¡Hola! My name is Laura and I am a native speaker of Spanish from Querétaro, Mexico. I was trained to teach Spanish at the Escuela Falcón and have worked at several language schools in the area, such as the Peace Corps, Centro de Idiomas OLE, and Babilon Language Coaching. I have also taught private students. I have a degree from the Universidad de Guanajuato.

I began teaching in 2000 and have 20 years of experience, with a focus on bilingual teachers, college students, and adults -- though I love working with seniors! I specialize in test preparation (ECELE) and Spanish for tourism, and can also teach Spanish for priests.

Outside of work, I love exercising, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with my family.

"If you want to learn Spanish, Live Lingua is the best option short of going to live in a Spanish speaking country. It really does feel like an immersion school." Cenk S. - Lawyer

"If you ever want to improve your Spanish and travel around the world at the same time, this is the way to do it. As an English teacher I move to a new place every 1-2 years, and this way I can keep up my studies where ever I am." Celine T. - Teacher

"Thank you very much to [My Spanish Teacher] for her patience and good teaching skills. She is the best teacher I have ever had." Tseng E. - Photographer

"In my line of work I deal with a lot of Spanish speakers and need specific vocabulary. [My Spanish teacher] was able to work with me to create a custom program to teach me exactly what I needed. Now if a Spanish speaker comes into the office I am the personal they normally call to help." Shahanna N. - Social Worker
